With less than a week to go until the doors open at the Hobbit for Environmental Rock 2015, everyone is eagerly awaiting next Monday- and not just because it’s a Bank Holiday!
Environmental Rock is a fantastic, lively celebration of what we as a community can achieve in making Southampton a more sustainable environment, as well as the wider world! Join us as we learn about just how much we can do, on both an individual basis and in teams, and help us to raise environmental awareness on some of the key issues surrounding the city. Whether you are in school, work or in your home, the wonderful conservation volunteers groups will be able to chat through some of the activities they’ve been doing, and offer advice and information on how you can get involved.
These conservation groups include Hampshire Conservation Volunteers, Southampton University Conservation Volunteers and Green Action, and will all have stalls at Environmental Rock.
So, make sure to visit the conservation groups at Environmental Rock on Monday 25th, and if you aren’t already thinking of coming, what are you waiting for? Stick it in the diary!
